I've been working with Jake at RAH Studios for almost 2 years now to record rap songs and I'm still loving this studio.
Jake is always friendly and welcoming, very focused on the music. His musical expertise always helps to elevate the outcome of my songs. The studio experience is great, a good size to bring guests, great equipment and I would recommend it to anybody who is passionate about making good quality music. |

Sunk Cost Fallacy - 6 track EP(Taster).

Working with Jake to record our 6-track EP was brilliant. He was very accommodating and flexible with everything. Sometimes we were there for an hour and others we were there for most of the day!
As a raw and heavy band, we thought it would be a challenge for someone to capture and create the sound we wanted but Jake delivered us the powerful, crisp and fat sound we were after. Our band, BushFieldSmith, have recorded, mixed and mastered two albums at RAH Studio with Jake. His attention to detail is highly accurate; quite simply - he has well-tuned ears. As an experienced multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Jake implicitly understands rhythm, melody, harmony and nuances - this makes the whole business of recording with him far easier than it perhaps would be elsewhere. He is very relaxed, but always on the money. Just like most musicians in search of perfection, he doesn't let any erroneous errors pass. He wants you to be happy with the result, and ensures this is the case, as not only is your work paramount to you, but it is also a show-piece for RAH Studio. Jake is an affable guy and an easy person to get on with, and having a laugh during the often serious business of recording two albums, made the whole experience a lot of fun. We've just finished recording and producing a 10 track cd at RAH Studio, Jake's professionalism, expertise and guidance from initial recording through mixing and mastering and onto manufacturing was not only thoroughly enjoyable but absolutely invaluable. His enthusiasm for, and knowledge of all styles of music helped us to get the sound we wanted and gave us a finished cd that were all proud of. Lovely studio, great location and the garage next door even sells beer.

Had heard that RAH studios was a brand new studio located locally. I thought that I would give them a try for the recording of a couple of songs that I had been working on. I have to say that my experience was excellent, Jake was very professional and knowledgeable and we all felt very relaxed from the beginning. The end result was superb and we shall definately be returning to use the studio and Jake for future projects. I would definitely recommend using this studio.

We went to RAH Studio to record our first 2 songs as a band. Straight away the feel of the studio is perfect to work comfortably in. Jake was really easy to work with and knew how to get the sound we were looking for. We will definatley be returning to record more songs in the future.
